The Canadian Sportsman has ceased publishing with its December 2013 issue. The magazine was aimed solely at those interested in Standardbred horses and harness racing. It covered the harness racing industry in Canada and provided news and instructions on breeding and training.
In the wake of Curbed Network's acquisition by Vox Media, Inc. (as previously reported by the Navigator), Eater Toronto faces more changes. The founding editor Carolyn Grisold will leave the website at the end of November, and the search is on for a new editor. Good Housekeeping magazine has appointed Jane Francisco as editor in chief. She will take over the position on Dec. 2 in place of Rosemary Ellis who is leaving the publication to pursue new opportunities. Francisco has served as editor in chief of the Canadian publications Chatelaine and Whole Beauty since 2009. Find Good Housekeeping on Pinterest for decorating tips, products picks and recipe ideas.
David Andreatta has rejoined the Rochester (NY) Democrat and Chronicle as an investigative news reporter. He previously served in the same role for the paper until September 2013.
