Courtney Sabin joined Cision in April 2007 as a research editor and a month later joined The Navigator as a contributing editor. In March 2008, she was promoted to the position of associate editor. Courtney covers media moves and new placement opportunities for the newsletter. She previously worked for Nugent manufacturing company as an executive assistant editing company brochures and product manuals. She also taught an undergraduate journalism course and served as vice president of the Illini Media Company while earning her master’s degree in print journalism from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
